Back in June, we did a few field trips, but I have been so wildly busy I haven't put them up. Here they are. I know you were waiting to see what we have done, and I know I needed to get it down on "paper" so I didn't forget. It may be too late. I may have already forgotten the details. One thing I won't forget was the show we provided at the zoo. Maylin started the day off pretty mad when the ride to the zoo took 25 minutes rather than the 5 minutes she had in her head. There was a lot of crying and she said something like this over and over.... "if I knew it was going to take this long, I wouldn't have come. I just want to go home and forget the zoo." We were already 17 minutes into our journey, so I told her to suck up her tears and have a good time anyway and next time she could stay home. Nice. I know. She cried the rest of the way there.
