April was jammed packed and time just flew by. I can't believe I went so long between posts. Ugh. Jay had a birthday. It wasn't that great. Tax day. I hate it. It is never fun because that's the day we write that awful check to the IRS. We did take him to dinner at Longhorn Stake house and I got him a cheesecake. Which, we didn't eat. We were to full from dinner and then we forgot about it and it went bad. Okay, Alex had 4 pieces, but then the rest went bad. Jay did get a new lawn mower. Its been pretty hard this month. Business has been terrible. Every time I turn around something is going wrong. I am stressed beyond belief. We have been financially sound for so long, it is hard to have things be tight. I hate it. I just pray every day that things will get better. Jay is so smart and works so hard, I am sure he will make it alright. I just hate this though. About two months ago, we had to put down Simba our cat. I did not post it then, but now I decided it needed to be posted. She was our pet for 14 and 1/2 years. She was so sweet and such a part of our family. She had been sick for about 8 months, but I just couldn't put her down. I talked to the vet and he said she wasn't in pain, her quality of life just wasn't the best. Knowing she wasn't in pain is what kept me from putting her down for so long. Finally, once we had all come to terms with it, we let her go. I made Jay go with me and none of the kids could do it. They made us take pictures, but they just could't be there. I totally understood. We love Simba! We are so glad that we still have Junior, our other cat, and our cute dogs in our lives. These two puppies have such a pig part of our hearts. They are so sweet and love us so much. They are half brothers. They have the same dad, different moms and are about a year apart. Bailey is the one licking ...
