On our last day, we packed up camp and said good-bye to our new friends and drove to another hike. This was called Zebra Slot Canyon. There were lots of cars at the lot, but on the hike we didn't pass a whole lot of people. The trail was not really well marked, so we spent a lot of time wandering. At one point, we were pretty much lost. Luckily we ran into another family who were lost too and had been wandering for several hours. Together we were able to find our way. This is the most photographed slot canyon. It was amazing. It was about a 5 mile hike and it was HOT and DRY. It was awesome though. The boys led the way and I would go back and forth between the boys and Jay, so I actually did the hike twice. The slot canyon was sooooo tight. You could have gone farther back but you would have to climb 15 feet up and in a narrow area, so we didn't do that. At some points you had to turn sideways. Even for Jay that was tight, but it was fun! ...
