Last day in Hawaii and it was packed.

 Our flight left at 10:00 at night so we had the whole day to explore. We went to the Glass Beach and the Swiss Cheese/Melted Metal Beach. They were right next to each other. My kids LOVED this. Probably one of the highlights of our trip. These beaches were made when hundreds of years ago garbage, glass, and machinery from a sugar cane farm and plant were dumped into the ocean. As the years went on, the sea turned them over and over and broke them up until they became the beach and the rocks. Many people at the beach the same time as us, were so upset that mankind would dump things into the ocean and complained the whole time, but we all felt it was beautiful what the earth does to the dumb stuff we do. The earth knows how to take care of itself and it is so powerful. My kids spent hours looking for glass chunks that were mixed into the finer glass sand. Below the glass was beautiful black sand.
