We spent some time in Gatlinburg after the National Park. It was a cute, tourist town with some fun shops.....I will say, some weird shops too, but mostly cool ones. We ate at a really great mom and pop breakfast grill. I had the blackberry pancakes! Rolled up with blackberries inside and powdered sugar and a heap of the most delicious butter. Some of us had hamburgers or chicken sandwiches, but the rest had this amazing french toast that was to die for. I will share pictures of our shopping outing later.
We road the tram up the hill side which was a great view. We then explored at the top of the mountain. They had a water slide up there that kids just had to do. They also had to get some ice cream. You know how that works. There is an indoor ice rink and we watched people skate. It was fun. The views were awesome.
Some of the attractions at the top of the hill.
